Automotive Locksmithing 2

$ 34.99

Introduction to Automotive Locksmithing 2 (1Hr. 59 Min.) $34.99

Course Description:

Auto 2, builds on the skills that were presented in the Auto 1, Course. It is not totally necessary, but it is suggested you view Auto 1 before viewing Auto 2.

Auto 1 focused on making keys for cars where all of the locks were original locks and in good working condition. Quite often locksmiths receive calls where the ignition lock is not working or it is not an original lock. Auto 2 teaches skills that will help in these situations.

After completing this course you will have more of the basic skills needed to do automotive locksmithing. Most of the examples in this course focus on Ford, Mercury, & Lincoln vehicles. However, many of the skills apply to all makes and models. This course does not cover high security autos. Those skills will be covered in a later course.

The Auto 1 course starts with the very basics and goes through how to actually program a transponder key to a car. This course, Auto 2, presents more advanced skills. The course does not cover high security keys. That topic will be covered in a later course.

If you master the skills presented in Auto 1 and Auto 2 you should be able to accept a large amount of automotive locksmith work. One or two jobs can pay for both courses.

Auto 2 covers a great deal of material. Most of our courses present so much material that it will probably be necessary to view the video several times to get all of what is presented. Following are some of the things you should be able to do after viewing the film.  Please see the sample video clips.
