1. Q. How do I purchase the courses?
A. Click the “Buy Now” button and complete the transaction using PayPal.
2. Q. Do you have financing for any of your courses?
A. We use PayPal. By using PayPal, you have the option of using a credit card.
3. Q. Do I need a license to work as a locksmith?
A. At the very least you probably need a business license. Each community is different. Check with the business license department in your city. They usually have the information you will need to get licensed. You may also want to consult with the local police department and the consumer affairs department in your state.
4. Q. What kind of income can I expect from locksmithing?
A. It depends a lot on the area you live in, the hours you are willing to work, and the types of locksmith work you do. The more skills you learn, and the more hours you work, the more money you can make. If you can get some large commercial accounts you can make a lot more money. Commercial accounts will pay more than residential work. Some locksmiths report incomes of over $100,000 per year. Locksmithing is like any other business, starting out is probably going to be slow. The longer you are in business, the more established you become and the more money you will make.
5. Q. Is this program better than a home study course?
A. It is much easier to learn the skills used in the locksmith business by watching someone perform the work. With the DVD/videos you can watch over and over again until you get it. You can hear and see the skills being performed. When compared to most home study courses, the DVD/videos make learning the skills easier and faster.
6. Q. How long does it take to learn the skills?
A. Some people pick up the skill faster than others. Most people can learn most of the skills within a few minutes. Obviously, with more practice, a person can perform faster. Some skills, like impressioning, will take longer to master.
7. Q. Does the program include a certificate?
A. For those who complete the basic course, which consist of the first eight courses, we do offer a certification test. The test is open book. This is only offered to those who have completed the LocksmithDVD Basic Program (Courses 1-8).
8. Q. Where can I purchase tools and supplies?
A. Check the internet for locksmith suppliers and then contact them directly to see what will be needed. Many suppliers will want to see a copy of your business license. If your state requires a state license, they will probably want to see a copy of that as well. Many supplies can be purchased without a business license. However, tools, like lock picks are usually regulated.
9. Q. Can our company save money by doing our own locksmithing?
A. Absolutely, with the low price for this training, it would not take long for you to save money by training your own maintenance personnel to do your own locksmith work.

11. Q. What is your return and or cancellation policy ?
A. Nearly everyone knows how easy it is to copy a DVD. Consequently, we cannot make refunds. If there is a problem with one of the DVDs, we will be happy to exchange it.
12. Q. What format are your DVDs?
A. They are either DVD-R or DVD+R. Both formats are supported by most players made after 2000. Both formats will also play in most computers.
13. Q. How much is shipping?
A. The DVD prices shown on this website already include the cost of shipping inside the 50 States. We do not ship to every country. Please contact us for shipment outside the United States.
